Virtual God
and the
Prophetic Power Wranglers
by Rev. Michael D. Perry, MBA

Chapter 6
THE MILLENNIUM

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Again I must repeat that this book gives my own personal observations of Bible prophecy and are my own opinions and are not to be construed as "Revelations from God." The following are merely examples of how prophetic scriptures could be fulfilled.  Only time will show the truth.

The end of the Great Tribulation is called the Battle of Armageddon.  It is fought over Israel between the Antichrist and the Lord Jesus Christ.  The Prophetic Power Wranglers Daniel, Obadiah, and John describe the Antichrist.

Daniel 7:11 - - I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake . . .

Obadiah 1:3, 4 - - The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, no shall bring me down to the ground?  Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring you down, saith the Lord.

Revelation 17:1-11 - - And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, serving unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters.  With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.  So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.  And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: and upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.  And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel?  I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the great beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.  And here is the mind which hath wisdom.  The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.  And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.  And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

The Prophetic Power Wrangler Joel gives warnings of the "day of the Lord".

Joel 1:15 - - Alas for the day!  For the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the almighty shall it come.

Joel 2:30-32 - - And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.  The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

The Lord has determined to save Israel from the Antichrist.

Jeremiah 31:11 - - For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

Hosea 1:7, 10, 11 - - But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.  Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, ye are the sons of the living God. Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

Amos 9:8 - - Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the Lord.

Zechariah 9:16 - - And the Lord their God shall save them in that day as the flock of His people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon His land.

Jesus will return with the raptured saints to defeat the Antichrist and stop the Great Tribulation.

Isaiah 30:27-33 - - Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with His anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: His lips are full of indignation, and His tongue as a devouring fire: and His breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err. Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the mighty One of Israel.  And the Lord shall cause His glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lightning down of His arm, with the indignation of His anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

Hosea 11:10 - - They shall walk after the Lord, He shall roar like a lion: when He shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.

Joel 2:11 - - And the Lord shall utter His voice before His army: for His camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth His for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

Joel 3:14-17 - - Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.  The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.  The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of His people, and the strength of the children of Israel.  So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

Amos 1:2 - - And he said, The Lord will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

Zechariah 14:3-7 - - Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle.  And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.  And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah; and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark. but it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

1 Thessalonians 3:13 - - To the end He may establish your hearts unblameable in Holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

Jude 1:14,15 - - And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

Revelation 1:6 - - And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever Amen.

Revelation 19:11-15 - - And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse, and He that sat upon Him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.  And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations . . .

The Prophetic Power Wranglers Zechariah and John give a description of the Battle of Armageddon.

Zechariah 10:5 - - And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the Lord is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded

Revelation 16:14,16,18-21 - - For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.  And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.  And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.  And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.  And every island fled and the mountains were not found And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Revelation 17:14 - - These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome these: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

The Antichrist will be destroyed.

Isaiah 14:12 - - How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Daniel 7:11, 26 - - . . . I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. . . . and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

Daniel 8:25 he shall also stand up against the prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Daniel 11:45 - - . . . yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Amos 9:8 - - . . . and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth . . .

Obadiah 1:13-15 - - Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity; neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossways to cut off those of His that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of His that did remain in the day of distress.  For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

Zephaniah 2:10, 11 - - They shall have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the Lord of hosts. The Lord will be terrible unto them: for He will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship Him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.

Zechariah 14:12 - - And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Matthew 8:12 - - But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

2 Thessalonians 2:8 - - . . . whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming.

Revelation 11:13 - - And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand and the remnant were affrighted and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Revelation 14:9-11 - -And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Revelation 16:10-11 - - And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Revelation 19:19-21 - - And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army.  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.  These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.  And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of His mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

The way is now open for Jesus to begin His thousand-year reign on planet Earth.  This is the "Day" of the Lord.  Webster's Dictionary defines the term "Millennium" as:
   1a. a period of 1,000 years
   1b. a 1,000th anniversary or its celebration
2a. the thousand years mentioned in Revelation 20 during which holiness is to prevail and Christ is to reign on earth
2b. a period of great happiness or perfect government or freedom from imperfection in human existence.

I was surprised to see scripture mentioned in the dictionary.  We shall now look throughout the entire Bible for references to the thousand-year reign of Jesus.  One key to understanding the Millennium in the Bible is the term "the day of the Lord." This "day" actually lasts for one thousand years, but to resurrected Christians with glorified bodies it will seem like only one day has passed from the end of the Great Tribulation to the end of the Millennium.  Jesus will distribute the land of Israel to the twelve tribes and build the Temple when He returns to Jerusalem (see map 6-1).

Zechariah 3:8 - - . . . for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

Zechariah 6:12,13 - - And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is the BRANCH; and He shall grow up out of His place, and He shall build the temple of the Lord: even He shall build the temple of the Lord; and He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon His throne; and He shall be a priest upon His throne . . .

Zechariah 8:3 - - Thus saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain.

Amos 9:11 - - In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old.

This is the beginning of what is called the Kingdom of Christ.  What will life be like during the Millenium?  Everyone will be surprised at the changes that will take place, but will probably be more surprised at the things that will remain the same as they are now.

Numbers 24:7 - - He shall pour the water out of His buckets, and His seed shall be in many waters, and His king shall be mightier than Agag, and His kingdom shall be exalted.

Isaiah 4:2-4 - - In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

Isaiah 25:8, 9 - - He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of His people shall He take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us: this is the Lord, we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.

Isaiah 26:1 - - In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; we have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.

Isaiah 31:5 - - As birds flying, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also He will deliver it; and passing over He will preserve it.

Isaiah 33:17, 22 - - Thine eyes shall see the king in His beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.  For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; He will save us.

Isaiah 45:22, 23 - - Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.  I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear

Isaiah 52:6-10 - - Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am He that doth speak: behoId, it is I. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace, that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!  Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring them again to Zion. Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted His people, He hath redeemed Jerusalem.  The Lord hath made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

Isaiah 56:7 - - Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

Isaiah 65:9 - - And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.

Jeremiah 23:5-8 - - Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.  In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is His name whereby He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.  Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; but, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country; and from all countries whither I had driven them, and they shall dwell in their own land.

Jeremiah 30:9-11 - - But they shall serve the Lord their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.  Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the Lord, neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.  For I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.

Ezekiel 37:24-28 - - And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.  And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. Moreover, I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

Ezekiel 44:1-3 - - Then He brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it was shut.  Then said the Lord unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the Lord, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore, it shall be shut.  It is for the prince; the prince, He shall sit in it to eat bread before the Lord; He shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.

Daniel 2:34, 35, 44, 45 - - Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.  Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for every. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

Daniel 7:9, 14, 18, 22, 27 - - I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like pure wool: His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire.  And there was given unto Him dominion and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.  But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever. The Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most high, and the time came that saints possessed the kingdom.  And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.

Daniel 9:24 - - . . . and to anoint the most holy.

Micah 4:1, 2, 8 - - But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and the people shall flow into it.  And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.  And thou, O tower of the flock the stronghold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.

Habakkuk 2:14, 20 - - For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.  But the Lord is in His holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before Him.

Zechariah 2:10-13 - - Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord. And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto thee.  And the Lord shall inherit Judah His portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.  Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for He is raised up out of His holy habitation.

Zechariah 14:8, 9, 16, 17 - - And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and winter shall it be.  And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and His name one.  And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.  And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

Malachi 3:2-4, 12 - - But who may abide the day of His coming?  And who shall stand when He appeareth?  For He is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: and He shall sit as a refiner and purifter of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.  Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.  And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.

Luke 13:29 - - And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

Luke 19:17,19 - - And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.  And He said likewise to him, be thou also over five cities.

Luke 22:30 - - That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom . . .

Acts 2:30,36 - - Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, He would raise up Christ to sit on His throne.  Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Romans 11:26 - - And so all Israel shall be saved as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.

1 Corinthians 15:24, 25 - - Then cometh the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom of God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and authority and power For He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet.

1 Timothy 6:15 - - Which in His times He shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords.

2 Timothy 2:12 - - . . . we shall also reign with Him . . .

Hebrews 1:8 - - But unto the Son He saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

James 2:5 - - Hearken, my beloved brethren, hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs to the kingdom which He hath promised to them that love Him?

Revelation 11:15, 17 - - And the seventh angel sounded: and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ, and He shall reign for ever and ever Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit for one thousand years.

Revelation 20:1-6 - - And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled . . . And I saw thrones, and they that sat on them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands: and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years . . . this is the first resurrection.  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Isaiah 14:15-17 - - Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; that made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

After Jesus establishes His kingdom in Jerusalem, He will begin to judge the nations of the world.  This is the fourth judgment mentioned in the Bible.  The nations are judged based on how they have treated Israel.

Isaiah 9:7 - - Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever.

Isaiah 30:30 - - And the Lord shall cause His glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of His arm, with the indignation of His anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

Isaiah 33:5 - - The Lord is exalted; for He dwelleth on high: He hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.

Jeremiah 3:16 - - And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, the ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.  At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

Jeremiah 17:25, 26 - - Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the Lord.

Micah 4:3 - - And He shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Matthew 19:28 - - And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man shall sit in the throne of His glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Matthew 25:31-46 - - When the Son of Man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory: and before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: and He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.  Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink.  I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.  Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee?  Or thirsty, and gave thee drink?  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in?  Or naked, and clothed thee?  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the king shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the Devil and his angels: for I was hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink.  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked and ye clothed me not: sick and in prison, and ye visited me not.  Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw, we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?  Then shall He answer them, saying, Verily, I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not unto me.  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Acts 3:19-23 - - Repent ye therefore, and be converted that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; and He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, a Prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; Him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever He shall say unto you.  And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Revelation 19:1, 2, 15, 16 - - And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia, salvation, and glory, and honor, and power unto the Lord our God for true and righteous are His judgments: for He hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of His servants at her hand And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: And He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Life during the Millennium will surprise everyone.  The Bible was written to teach us how to live in this life.  But some details are given to let us know what our future life will be like.

Isaiah 11:6-10 - - The wolf also will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.  And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like an ox.  And the suckling child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice's den.  They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.  And in the day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and His rest shall be glorious.

Isaiah 19:23-25 - - In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptian shall serve with the Assyrians.  In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

Isaiah 33:6 - - And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and
strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is His treasure.

Isaiah 61:6, 9-11 - - But ye shall be named the priests of the Lord: men shall call you the ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.  And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed.  I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.  For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Isaiah 62:11, 12 - - Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.  And they shall call them, the holy people, the redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, sought out, a city not forsaken.

Isaiah 65:20-25 - - There shall be no more an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.  And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.  The shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.  They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.  And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and the dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.

Isaiah 66:23, 24 - - And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.  And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Jeremiah 30:18-22 - - Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof. And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry; and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.  And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them, and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the Lord.  And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Ezekiel 47:22 - - And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget the children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.

Micah 4:4-7 - - But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid for the mouth of the Lord of hosts hath spoken it.  For all people will walk every one in the name of the his God, and we will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever In that day, saith the Lord, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted; and I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the Lord shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever

Zechariah 8:4, 5 - - Thus saith the Lord of hosts; there shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.  And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.

Luke 10:34-36 - - And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: but they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: neither can they die any more: for they are equal to the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

2 Peter 3:8 - - But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Revelation 1:6 - - And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever.

Revelation 7:9, 10, 13-17 - - After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.  And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes?  And whence came they? And I said unto him, sir, thou knowest.  And he said unto me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.  Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple: and He that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.  They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.  For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Revelation 14:1, 3-5 - - And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father's name written in their foreheads.  And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.  These were they which follow after the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and the Lamb.  And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

The Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ will end with the "Final Conflict" fought between the Lord and Satan which is outlined in Chapter 7, The Aftermath.
